Pan American Championships

Since 1981 WBSC AMERICAS SOFTBALL has been organizing the Softball Pan American Championships, serve for qualify teams for Olympics Games, World Championships and multi spots Games 

The first Men's Pan American Championship was played in Maracay, Venezuela, in 1981. Nine tournaments have been played so far, the last one in Parana, Argentina, in 2014 and the 2017 will be held in Santo Domingo - Dominican Republic (September).

In the Women's side, the inaugural Pan Am Championship was held in Obregon City, Mexico, in 1982. In 2013 was played the eighth tournament, in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico and the 2017 will be held in Santo Domingo - Dominican Republic (August). 
 
Finally, WBSC AMERICAS SOFTBALL has organized the Junior Women's Pan American Championship Qualifier three times; the last edition been held in Bogota, Colombia, in 2010.
